24-hour Padelathon for MND

Pressure Control Solutions was proud to sponsor and take part in a recent 24-hour padelathon, helping to raise funds and awareness for the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) community.

Organised by Will Addy, the endurance event brought together businesses, players, and supporters for a full day and night of continuous padel, with participants rotating on and off the court to keep play going around the clock. Charity padel events like this are designed to unite communities through sport while generating vital donations for people living with MND and their families.

MND is a life-changing condition that affects the brain and nerves, and fundraising plays a crucial role in enabling specialist support, care, and research. The MND Association emphasises that every challenge, event, or donation helps improve services for those affected while driving progress towards better treatments.

Team members from Pressure Control Solutions joined fellow players and supporters throughout the 24-hour challenge, demonstrating the same teamwork and resilience that underpin the company’s engineering projects. The event was not only a physical test of endurance but also an opportunity to stand alongside the wider community in support of an important cause.

Padel—an increasingly popular, social racket sport typically played in doubles on an enclosed court—has become a powerful way to engage people in fundraising activities thanks to its accessibility and team-focused nature.

The company would like to thank the organisers, fellow participants, and everyone who donated or cheered from the sidelines. Events like this highlight what can be achieved when businesses and communities come together behind a shared goal.
